Our children. Our grandparents. Our moms and dads. Aunts. Uncles. Cousins. Our pets. They are who connect us through life, and deserve to be cherished and captured in portraits. They are all, family whether we like them or not. We let too many memories get by thinking we've documented it somehow. We're snapping away on our phones, sharing images, posting to social media... but where are they?
Do our children see their images of happiness with family on the shelves or walls? Can they pick up a photo book or album and relive those memories? Will they be able to tell the stories to their own children someday?
I was an advocate for the pure digital experience. It's what pulled me deeper into photography and I went through a time of digital only. And as my kids have grown, I realized they, did not see what I could see. They were missing those memories.
Don't these deserve to be captured in a fun and memorable manner, and displayed for all to see?
